Sopore, May 28 (KNO): Scores of students of Govt Degree College Sopore staged a protest inside college campus on Tuesday against the killing of Ansar Gazwatul Hind (AGH) Cheif Zakir Musa in a gunfight with government forces at Dadsara village of Tral last week. An eyewitness told KNO that students shouted pro-freedom and pro Azadi slogans inside campus and tried to come out on highway. However forces deployed there stopped them triggering massive clashes leaving many students injuted. In wake of this, college authorities suspended class work. Hospital Authorities confirmed to KNO that two students namely Irfan Ahamd Son of Mohd Abdullah Residents of Tantraypora Reban and Ishfaq Ahamd From Sopore. "Irfan has been by pellets on his eye and he was shifted to SMHS for further treatment," a doctor told KNO. He said Ishfaq got three stitches in his leg and arm but his condition is stable. Pertinently, after four days colleges in the valley were open post militant commander Zakir Musa killing.(KNO)
